Apex Legends player PVPX calls out Respawn and proposes changes

The Apex Legends community is currently facing some problems with the state of the game. For one, the dashboarding issue has returned to Ranked Play, which leads to frustrations from those who abide by the rules. However, perhaps an even bigger problem has been the loot pool in Season 4, which is especially persistent on the Kings Canyon map. With the second split of Ranked now on the map, it’s causing players to see the faults it possesses. With all of this happening, one professional Apex Legends player, Jamison “PVPX” Moore of Cloud9, has called out Respawn, asking for changes.

PVPX proposes changes for Apex Legends

PVPX has been pretty vocal about Apex Legends‘ current state. He, like many other pro players, feels the game needs some changes in order to improve and keep up with the other battle royales. However, instead of simply complaining to his audience, PVPX has directly contacted Respawn with a list of changes he feels would improve the game.

To sum up, PVPX believes that every player should spawn in with all white gear. This includes a white Evo Shield, backpack, helmet, etc. His reasoning for this is he thinks white loot should be removed from the game entirely since it usually gets dropped for better loot anyway. It also increases the spawns for higher-tier items like blue Barrel Stabilizers, extended mags, etc.

When PVPX tweeted this out, the community seemed to agree with a majority of what he had to say. The addition of spawning with an Evo Shield is a particularly good idea. This would allow for aggressive players to be rewarded for dealing damage early on in the game and not rely on RNG to find an Evo Shield.

Also, in this scenario, the players who want to land safely are rewarded since they have a higher chance of finding a better shield. PVPX sent this exact tweet to the Apex Legends developers, so there’s no doubt they’ve seen the proposal. The only question now is if the developers will listen.
