Hideo Kojima shows off Death Stranding’s photo mode

Death Stranding’s PC version, coming in June, brings a photo mode to the game. So far, creator Hideo Kojima is only talking about photo mode capabilities for PC, but the toolkit he showed off in a tweet earlier this morning is rather robust.

The standard array of editing tools — zoom, depth of field, focus, lighting, and the like — are all there; so is the capability to change a character’s facial expressions or remove them from an image entirely. A variety of overlays provide a final touch for your desktop-worthy capture of Sam Porter Bridges’ latest delivery.

Death Stranding on PC, to be published by 505 Games, arrives June 2. In addition to photo mode, the PC version will offer support for ultra-wide monitors and higher frame rates. The game is available on both the Epic Games Store and Steam, where it will have a Half-Life-themed crossover giving Sam some Valve-styled cosmetics.
