Destiny 2 Xur location and items, March 6-10

If you played Destiny, you may be familiar with Xur, the weekly Exotic item merchant. In Destiny 2, he’s back, and he now appears all over the map. This week, you can find Xur on Nessus, standing on Calus’ Barge.

Xur’s inventory caps out at 941 if you’re 960.

Prometheus Lens

Prometheus Lens is an exotic from Curse of Osiris. It used to be one of the most powerful weapons in all of Destiny 2, when a bug (now fixed) caused it to deal ludicrous damage in PvP. Prometheus Lens is still awesome for clearing out large crowds of enemies all at once.

The main perk, Prismatic Inferno, causes Prometheus Lens’ beam to grow in size the longer you hold down the trigger. This allows the trace rifle to deal considerable damage in a large area. The gun’s secondary ability, Flame Refraction, makes the first perk even better, allowing kills to return ammo back into the magazine. The more kills you get, the longer you can hold down the trigger and increase your area of damage. It’s a fun gun and definitely worth the legendary shards.

Lucky Pants

Lucky Pants are fairly worthless in most situations. They’re also one of the exotics that Sloane offers you during the campaign. Their exotic perk, Illegally Modded Holster, allows you to ready hand cannons very quickly as well as increase accuracy for your first shot. Additionally, precision hits partially reload any stowed hand cannons. If you absolutely must use hand cannons in both your energy and kinetic slot, these pants are for you. Otherwise, skip Lucky Pants.

Xur’s roll this week is Void, and comes with 48 total stats.

Helm of Saint-14

Another returning Destiny exotic, the Helm of Saint-14 is useful in Destiny 2. Its exotic perk, Starless Night, causes your Ward of Dawn to blind enemies who walk inside it. Guarding with Sentinel Shield will provide the same result.

The Ward of Dawn is now a very powerful option in Destiny 2, with the Weapons of Light buff increasing player damage. This is a great helmet if you want to keep you and your allies even safer than a normal Ward of Dawn. And it just happens to be one of the coolest looking Exotics in Destiny 2.

Xur’s roll this week is Void, and comes with 48 total stats.

Eye of Another World

Apotheosis Veil is a returning exotic to Destiny 2, re-added in the Warmind expansion. When activating your Super, your health, grenade, Rift and melee energy will all instantly refill. Nearby allies also regenerate some of their class ability energy. This helmet is fine at best. There are so many good Warlock exotics out there that we’re honestly unsure when this helmet would ever be your best bet.

Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 48 total stats.

Invitation

If you haven’t completed the Invitation quest yet, Xur is still offering it for nine Legendary Shards.
