Games With Gold: Don't Forget To Claim This Xbox One Game From May's Lineup
May 2020’s Games with Gold offerings once again leaned into sports and racing, but they also included a pair of action-RPGs. While June is finally here, there’s still one more game from May’s Games With Gold lineup available to claim.
If you’re not into sports or racing, the Diablo-esque Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr for Xbox One is available until June 15. The story-driven campaign is set in the 41st millennium amidst a large-scale war and can be played either solo or cooperatively with up to four players.
While no longer available, May’s Games With Gold also included V-Rally 4, a 2018 Xbox One off-road racing game that features more than 50 rallycross cars, buggies, and more. V-Rally-4 is more of an arcade racing game than a sim, with scenic tracks scattered across every continent. Overlord 2, a decent Xbox 360 action-RPG in the now-defunct series, was also free to claim. It earned a 7.5/10 in GameSpot’s Overlord 2 review, in which we praised the diverse combat mechanics and humorous story. Finally, Gold subscribers could grab Sensible World of Soccer, an enhanced Xbox 360 version of the top-down ’90s soccer game.
The first of June’s Games with Gold are available now, including Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, Coffee Talk, and a pair of backward compatible Xbox 360 games. For more free games, make sure to take a peek at our running list of every free game available to claim right now.
