UNO Goes Green With "Nothin' But Paper"
The sustainability-minded will be delighted to learn that UNO has now released an environmentally-green version of its massively popular card game, created out of “Nothin’ But Paper.”
As its name suggests, Mattel‘s latest release has completely removed cellophane from its equation, relying 100 percent on the use of just paper, meaning the packaging as well as the 112-card deck is completely recyclable. The release is part of an effort to further the American toy and games company’s initiative to use only recycled, recyclable, or bio-based plastic materials for both its products and packaging by the year 2035.
“Small steps can make a big impact,” the company says, “especially when these changes roll out through the most popular card game in the world.”
UNO Nothin’ But Paper is now available over on Amazon for $6 USD. Head over to grab yours.
