The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, PS4, & Xbox One
Gollum will be sneaking on systems other than next-generation consoles, as it was revealed during the Future Games Show that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is also coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is an upcoming action-adventure game that will have elements of platforming and stealth. The player takes on the role of Smeagol/Gollum at some point in time after he loses the One Ring to Bilbo Baggins. The story follows his journey through Mordor, with the player having to choose between the two different aspects of Gollum’s personality.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was originally announced for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. It now seems that the developers have decided to drastically increase the potential market for the game, as it was revealed at the Future Games Show that it will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
This is an incredibly smart move for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, considering the fact that it’s adding around two hundred million more customers to its potential audience. From what we’ve seen of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, it doesn’t appear to be a game that is taxing on the hardware, so there is no reason why it shouldn’t run on the current generation of systems.
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X have yet to be released, but there is a chance that those consoles might have a slow start on the market, as the many people who had their jobs taken by the pandemic might not have the cash to spend on an expensive new console straight away. It’s far better for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum’s chances on the market for it to be available on systems that people likely already own.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in 2021.
