Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous Will Let Players Ride Dinosaurs Into Battle

The player can call upon some clever girls to help them in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, as the final stretch goal of the game has added dinosaurs as animal companions and mounts, alongside the new hunter character class.

The base setting of the Pathfinder tabletop RPG is Golarion, which is home to all manner of mythical beasts. Like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder has stats for dinosaurs, as they contain some easily recognizable creatures and are a basic signifier for the players entering an area that has remained untouched for a long time, like the island of Chult in the Forgotten Realms.

It was established in one of the earlier Kickstarter updates that Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will add mounted combat into the game. The new stretch goal means that players can now ride dinosaurs into battle, along with keeping them as animal companions. The hunter class debuted in the Pathfinder Advanced Class Guide as a fusion of the druid and ranger classes. The hunter has access to druid and ranger spells, animal companions, can grant themselves animal abilities, and can give teamwork feats to their animal allies in battle.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is promising to be a far more epic game than Kingmaker and riding a dinosaur into battle would certainly be keeping with the grander scale of the story. It’s unclear exactly what dinosaurs will appear in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, but if you can’t ride a Tyrannosaurus rex into war, then Owlcat Games will fail badly in their role as video game developers.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is expected to be released in June 2021.
