NBA 2K21 Will Debut New Tracks From 2 Chainz Upcoming Album On November 12

NBA 2K21 today announced that several tracks from 2 Chainz’s upcoming album “So Help Me God” will make their debut in-game on November 12. The unreleased songs will be available all-day via the 2K Beats in-game playlist, but will disappear on November 13 – which also happens to be the day “So Help Me God” is released.

“I’m always looking at new ways to drop new music and connect with my fans. Premiering my music in NBA 2K21 is an incredible, exciting opportunity,” said Tauheed “2 Chainz” Epps. “Music and sports go hand in hand, rappers wanna be athletes and athletes want to be rappers. 2K has grown into a leading music platform and we wanted to bring the NBA 2K community these hits to ball out to in The City or at the 2K Beach.”

You’ll be able to listen to the premieres for 24 hours, starting at 12:01am ET on November 12. At 11:59pm ET that night, the tracks will be removed – but 2 Chainz full album will be released.

The massive NBA 2K21 soundtrack is getting more than a premiere of new music – both Xbox Series X and PS5 versions will be receiving 150 new tracks, giving you access to over 350 songs. These are spread across 2K Beats and The City Soundtrack, providing you with “unique listening and discovery experiences.”

If you love the 2K21 soundtrack – which you do, because it’s incredible – you can keep listening while away from your console thanks to Spotify. 2K has put the entirety of its soundtrack on the popular streaming service, giving you access to every song in the game.

2020 has been a wild year for video game and artist collaborations – in large part thanks to Fortnite. Travis Scott got the ball rolling in April with the Astronomical Concert, followed by several other performances from Diplo, Dominic Fike, and numerous other artists. With live, in-person events getting cancelled across the world, it’s great to see these collaborations, giving fans a way to interact with their favorite artists in new and unique ways.

2 Chainz will premier new tracks from his upcoming album “So Help Me God” in NBA 2K21 on November 12.
