Mortal Kombat 11’s first look at Spawn revealed, gameplay footage coming soon
The Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn release date is pretty much common knowledge, but we're still expecting to get another proper look at the character in the coming days.
Now that we've enjoyed the launch of Joker in MK11 – not to mention learning the Joker's fatality moves – all eyes are on Spawn in order to keep the latest violent fighting game alive.
Todd McFarlane’s iconic anti-hero will be added to NetherRealm Studios’ esteemed fighting game on April 2nd – and this week we got another look at how he'll appear in the game.
The poster below shows how we'll be seeing Spawn in-game – if you can imagine him without that yellow filter.
So when are we actually going to get to see Al Simmons’ alter ego in action, then?
Potentially at the next big MK11 event – Final Kombat 2020.
NetherRealm has already confirmed that Final Kombat 2020 will feature special appearances by Todd McFarlane (Spawn Creator and McFarlane Toys Creative Director/CEO), Keith David (voice of Spawn in Mortal Kombat 11), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (voice of Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11) and Ed Boon (Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios and Co-Creator of Mortal Kombat).
This is when the Spawn gameplay trailer will likely be shown off for the first time – why else would McFarlane be there, right?
Final Kombat 2020 will be held on 8 th March at Chicago’s historic Park West theatre.
