Marvel’s Avengers Beta: PS4, Xbox One and PC beta start time, code and more
Marvel’s Avengers invites players to live out their Super Hero dreams again this weekend with a new beta open to players on all platforms.
Between "outstanding storytelling" and an "ever-expanding universe", the title is being sold to fans as the definitive Avengers gaming experience.
The game, which has an original story, will see the players take on the role of Avengers as they try to embrace their powers and learn that, together, 'we are mighty'.
But before you decide whether or not you want to invest in the final game, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are letting you test the title via a special Beta.
This week's Avengers beta is open to all PS4 owners – even if you didn't enjoy the beta last weekend! – and for the first time it's available to Xbox One and PC players (but you'll need to have pre-ordered a copy of the game on either platform in order to play over the next few days).
Marvel's Avengers Beta – Start Time
This weekend's beta will run from Friday August 14, to Sunday August 16.
The beta will likely kick off at around 3pm and finish up for the weekend at 9pm in your timezone, no matter where you are around the world.
If you want an Avengers beta code for the PS4, you'll have to pre-order the Marvel game digitally (or via select retailers).
Virgin Media is giving away beta codes to its customers in the UK. via the Virgin Media website : to redeem a code, simply enter your customer details and select which platform you'd like to play the game on.
Once you get your Avengers beta code, you will need to head to the beta code redemption site in order to turn it in.
Once turned in, you'll be able to select your preference when it comes to platform and get started on the beta.
Marvel's Avengers Beta – What to expect
Every weekend, players will be able to enjoy the following content in the beta:
• Single-player content from the campaign
• Co-op War Zone and Drop Zone missions (playable online with others on the same platform)
• HARM challenge rooms
• Hero and world progression, allowing you to try out the experience system up to Hero Level 15 and Power Level 45
It's worth noting that progress and levels will carry over from different beta weekends, but not into the full game.
