Leak Says Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Arrives November 13

A new leak reveals Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will hit hard drives like a ton of bricks on November 13, 2020.

We’re a day away from the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and the leaks are coming fast and furious. A new one, posted on COD Tracker, pretty much gives us the back of the box description, confirms some earlier pre-order bonus info, and even gives us a date.

Black Ops Cold War will drop fans into the depths of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s,” reads the leak. “Nothing is ever as it seems in a gripping single-player Campaign, where players will come face-to-face with historical figures and hard truths, as they battle around the globe through iconic locales like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters and more.”

Black Ops Cold War will have players take on the role of a CIA operative tracking down a mysterious figure named Perseus. He’s on a mission to destabilize the world order by doing nefarious things all around the globe, hence the jet-setting lifestyle to many exotic locations.

It goes on to say that the game is a direct sequel to 2010’s Black Ops, a beloved entry in the Call of Duty franchise. It will feature returning characters like Sergeant Woods, Mason, and Hudson, as well as a new cast of operatives. Also confirmed are the returning Zombies mode and multiplayer, which will be showcased in an open beta.

We also got some clarification on yesterday’s pre-order bonus leaks. Black Ops Cold War Ultimate Edition will come with the Land, Sea and Air Pack, which includes three operator skins, three vehicle skins, and three weapons blueprints. It also comes with the Season 1 Battle Pass and the Confrontation Weapons Pack. Pre-ordering before November 13th will get you early access to the open beta as well as the Frank Woods operator skin, an assault rifle blueprint, and 10 battle pass tier skips for Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Why would you need to pre-order before November 13th? Probably because that’s the launch date.

And if you thought this leak bonanza was over, a few more tidbits courtesy of the ModernWarzone Twitter account. The multiplayer beta reveal will take place on September 9th, and there will be an exclusive in-game reveal of Black Ops Cold War in Warzone tomorrow. Stay tuned.
