Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition has endured a somewhat troubled launch.

Fans have complained about various bugs and glitches, while performance issues have plagued the Switch release.

Things are even worst on PC, where Grand Theft Auto Trilogy has been removed from sale.

It all started when the Rockstar Games Launcher went offline, leaving fans unable to play any of the company’s games on PC.

While the Rockstar Games Launcher has since come back online, GTA Trilogy remains missing in action.

Rockstar has finally posted an update about the issues, explaining that GTA Trilogy contains some rogue files.

Needless to say, the game won’t be available to buy on PC until the files have been removed.

“The Rockstar Games Launcher is now online, but GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is unavailable to play or purchase as we remove files unintentionally included in these versions,” Rockstar tweets.

“We’re sorry for the disruption and hope to have correct ones up soon.”
