FIFA 20 TOTW delay: EA Twitter confirm ‘unexpected issue’ with Team of the Week

EA Sports has announced a delay to today's Team of the Week squad.

Writing on Twitter the EA Sports FIFA account told fans:

"Due to an unexpected issue, we have unfortunately had to delay the release of today's #TOTW until the issue is resolved. Please stay tuned to this thread for updates as they become available"

Despite this, it seems as though outside sources have revealed the new FIFA 20 Team of the Week squad for week 26.

It includes Liverpool's Sadio Mane, Chelsea's Ross Barkley, Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Newcastle's Allan Saint-Maximin and Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno.

That being said, EA Sports hasn't actually announced the Team of the Week squad.

Quite what is going on, isn't clear and it's certainly a first for us having covered the team of the week update for many years.

The FIFA Direct Communication account, typically used for support questions and problems with the game, haven't mentioned any problems.
