3 Call Of Duty games and 2 new Crash Bandicoot games coming soon claims leaker

The entire Activision line-up for the next two years may have been leaked online, including a remake of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex.

Activision seems to be suffering from more leaks than a sinking ship at the moment. Its Warzone battle royale mode for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare was public knowledge well before its official announcement, and now we may have learned of several more titles the publisher has planned for 2020 and beyond.

The leak comes from The Gaming Revolution, who has proven a reliable source for Activision information in the past, including providing accurate Warzone details back in January. So while there’s no guarantee they’re right this time they obviously have access to some good contacts.

And according to them, Activision has three Call Of Duty games, a Tony Hawk Pro Skater remaster, and two Crash Bandicoot games currently in development.

This year’s new Call Of Duty title is supposedly codenamed Project Zeus and will apparently be out this Christmas as usual. Previous rumours though, had suggested that Activision might skip this year, due to problems at developer Sledgehammer, but either way having Warzone, a remaster, and a whole new game does seem a bit like overkill.

But given Gaming Revolution doesn’t state a year for Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, perhaps that’s slated to come out next year instead.

They also mention a free-to-play Call Of Duty title that isn’t due until 2021 and will be on consoles, PC, and mobile. It’s stated to be being developed by SHGames, which is probably meant to be Sledgehammer Games, although it’s a little unclear.

A new Tony Hawk Pro Skater has also been heavily rumoured and requested for a while now. In fact, a new entry was seemingly confirmed only a couple of days ago when an Australian punk band mentioned they were in it. Whether it’s a new game or a remaster, fans of the series will no doubt be happy regardless, so long as it doesn’t play like Pro Skater 5.

And then there are the two Crash Bandicoot games. With the success of the N. Sane Trilogy, it’s no surprise that Activision would want to make more games with the orange marsupial.

Rather than the rumoured Crash Bandicoot Worlds, apparently Activision plans on remastering Crash’s first foray into the sixth generation of consoles (PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube), The Wrath Of Cortex.

The Wrath Of Cortex received fairly mixed reviews from critics when it came out and, unlike the original trilogy of games, isn’t as fondly looked back on. Maybe a remaster could help fix the original issues and make it more of a fan favourite?

Aside from that, some kind of PvP (player vs. player) Crash game is apparently in the works but Gaming Revolution didn’t provide any other details, aside from a 2021 release and that it will come to consoles, PC, and mobile. Given all the remaster talk, maybe Activison intends to do the same to Crash Bash, a party game released in 2000.

For the time being, we can only wait to see whether Gaming Revolution’s claims are accurate. If this all correct, then the next couple of years are going to be very busy, and potentially profitable, for Activison.
