A closer look at the Rankings

Impressively, Space maintained his position as No. 1 on the Dutch Power Rankings for the third season in a row. Space had consistent results at the majority of major events he attended this season. In fact, his worst placement came at the very last event of the season, as he placed 9th at The Ultimate Performance 3. In his Ultimate career, Space has beaten players like William “Glutonny” Belaid, Takuto “Kameme” Ono, and Adam “Armada” Lindgren. Naturally, he also boasts wins on many of the Netherlands’ best players.

Supahsemmie climbed back up to No. 2 in the Netherlands, a spot he previously held during Smash Ultimate‘s first season. Supahsemmie rarely travels to compete outside of the Netherlands, with Valhalla III being his only out-of-region major this season. Nevertheless, he has accrued impressive results in his home country. Perhaps most notable among these was his 1st place finish at Lightning: Volume 3. There, Supahsemmie defeated iStudying, Young Eevey, and S1.

Mr. R finished at No. 44 on the Fall 2019 PGRU, ahead of any of his Dutch compatriots. Despite this, he only ranked 7th on the Dutch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Power Rankings. This was largely due to low attendance, as well as his underperformance at events like Syndicate 2019.
