No[o]ne joins the 10K MMR ranks

Virtus.pro mid lane player Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko became on Saturday, March 14, the tenth player to reach 10,000 MMR, joining his former teammate Roman “RAMZES” Kushnarev in the elite club.

No[o]one is only the second CIS player to reach the milestone and the fourth to do so on the European servers. The first to break the 10,000 barrier playing via Europe was Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng, who was wearing the Team Secret jersey at the time he got the achievement, back in September 2017. Shortly after him and right before an MMR reset, RAMZES became the second to do so. No one else managed to reach the 10,000 mark via European servers after RAMZES until last month when Aliwi “w33” Omar became a 10,060 MMR player. Nigma’s mid laner was one of the last players to enter the 10K MMR club while the ranked matchmaking was still split between core and support role. At that time, w33 just 470 MMR points away from becoming a 10K support as well.

On March 3, Valve removed the role separation and since then a couple of players have been able to get themselves in the 10K range. EHOME’s mid lane player Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang has done so on March 10, followed by TNC’s Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios on March 12.
