Guild Esports, a UK-based esports organisation co-owned by David Beckham, has joined forces with streetwear designer Fergus Purcell to collaborate on the launch of its first apparel collection.
Purcell, who is most known as the creator of the identity for skatewear label Palace, exclusively designed the graphics for Guild’s ‘monochrome’ collection, which officially launched today.

The launch of the apparel range is said to be a “reflection of Guild’s mission to represent a new level of excellence in competitive gaming”
Co-owner Beckham commented on collaborating with Purcell in a release: “I have followed Fergus’ work for a while now, and I love the Guild logo and graphics he has created for us. At Guild, we’re on a mission to build a culture of excellence in everything we do, so as one of London’s most iconic streetwear designers, Fergus was the perfect fit as our creative partner.”

Since its launch in June, Guild Esports has expanded significantly, completing a £41.2m listing on the London Stock Exchange and unveiling rosters that will be competing across Rocket League, FIFA, and VALORANT. The organisation also intends on expanding its presence across a number of esports titles including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
This rapid rate of expansion is partly down to the involvement of Beckham, whose name has been utilised to raise over £20m in capital.
Esports Insider says: Providing high-quality apparel has quickly become a key element for esports organisations. With Guild joining forces with well-known street designer Fergus Purcell, it attracts both fans of the organisation to the product alongside fans of Purcell’s work. It will be interesting to see what else Guild does to stand out from the crowd.
