ESL and DreamHack to Merge, Brands Will Remain Intact

Global tournament organizers ESL and DreamHack will merge their operations into a single entity under the name ESL Gaming. The new structure will be led by Co-CEOs Craig Levine and Ralf Reichert. DreamHack President and CEO will take the role of president, DreamHack SVP, project and event operations.

DreamHack and ESL share a parent company in Modern Times Group. The companies have already begun collaborating more directly this year through the ESL Pro Tour – a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament circuit consisting of various established ESL and Dreamhack-branded events.
