Competitive platform Doctor Battles to launch in September – Esports Insider

Bryan Ragin, Founder and Owner of Doctor Battles, commented in a release: “We believe that the true potential of esports has yet to be realised, which is why we wanted to create an app that helps players dive even deeper into their passion. After a year of testing, we are so excited to be finally going public with our interactive concept.”

Players can register for competitions via pre-made teams or use Doctor Battles’ algorithms to be matched up with ideal teammates. Tournament organisers will also be rewarded for using the platform to run their own competitions, and players and organisers alike can spend their rewards on real-world items in the app’s store.

Doctor Battles will be available with both free and premium membership options. Paying members will earn extra rewards for using the platform and earn discounts on items available in the shop, as well as be invited to special VIP events.

Esports Insider says: We’ll be interested to see what sets Doctor Battles apart from the various other competitive platforms out there. The name doesn’t necessarily roll off of the tongue, but if players and organisers alike are incentivised to use the platform, then it could stand out in the crowd.
