Call of Duty League team skins leaked for Black Ops Cold War

Call of Duty League skins are seemingly on their way to Black Ops Cold War ahead of Opening Weekend on Feb. 11. According to a Twitter promotional video, the skins are close to releasing and feature similar designs to the skins seen in Modern Warfare.

The CDL is set to kick off its 2021 season on Feb. 11 with the Atlanta FaZe hosting Opening Weekend. The event will be the first real competition fans have seen since COD Champs in 2020, and it appears Activision is celebrating the occasion with the return of CDL skins

Black Ops Cold War to introduce CDL skins

The Call of Duty League is already present in the newest main series title. The CDL Launch Pack skins released on Dec. 16, 2020, and are quite popular among fans though, professional players have banned the white variant due to its transparency on some maps.

However, some Twitter users discovered a promotional video for the upcoming Opening Weekend that clearly displays CDL team skins.

In all likelihood, the skins will release as a pack prior to Opening Weekend. The individual packs will presumably be sold separately, similar to how they worked in Modern Warfare. So, fans of the Atlanta FaZe or OpTic Chicago can buy their team’s respective pack and equip the cosmetics that come with it.

In Modern Warfare, the packs cost $9.99 and gave the player two Operator skins, a weapon camo and other accessories. For Black Ops Cold War, though, it seems only the Operator skins will be included. This could change down the line if Activision decides to release weapon camos as well.

If it’s only the Operator skins in the packs, expect to pay around $5 for each. There’s currently no release date set for the skins, as they aren’t officially confirmed yet.
